Posted Thu Dec 8 2011: from Indiana Public Media: Senator Lugar Introduces Bill To Approve Keystone Pipeline http://apocadocs.com/s.pl?1323305954 Senator Richard Lugar, R-Ind., is leading a charge to push the construction of an oil pipeline through Congress. The North American Energy Security Act would force the Obama administration to issue a construction permit for the Keystone XL pipeline within 60 days of the bill's passage. Lugar says the pipeline, which would bring Canadian crude oil directly to gulf coast refineries, is a "shovel ready" jobs project that would also reduce America's dependence on foreign oil from the Middle East and Venezuela.
