	White House to install solar panels after all http://apocadocs.com/s.pl?1286294592 After a month of stalling, US president Barack Obama has finally agreed to install some solar panels on the White House's living quarters. The Associated Press reports that the solar panels are to be installed by spring 2011, and will heat water for the first family and supply some electricity. Campaigners from the climate action group 350.org travelled to Washington DC early in September to push for this, bringing with them a set of solar panels that were installed on the roof of the West Wing between 1979 and 1986. At the time they didn't manage to extract any promises, but Obama seems to have changed his mind.
