You could say Harvey Buhr is part inventor, part entrepreneur and part mad scientist. "I've always had an interest in waste-to-energy," said Harvey Buhr, founder and CEO of Hitec... His waste-to-energy idea centers on old tires, which he sees as an opportunity that's gaining steam.... Buhr has machines in his backyard that can recycle a whole cart of tires at a time. Once they go in, Buhr uses heat to extract the oil and other energy sources inside of them.
